"The Warden" is a terrific book. Septimus Harding is quite the magnanimus soul. Trollope writes with a very subtle, ironic style. Some have said he's poking fun a little a Dickens. I'm not certain about that (I like Dickens, too, btw).
ReplyDeleteAlso, btw - I'm going to have to re-write the band name above. I've been informed by sources it's "skip-rope" cello and not "jump-rope" cello. My mistake and apologies.

Skip Rope Cello. Sounds very interesting. Child-like classical is what comes to mind.
